Have you ever noticed that things in life tend to happen in threes? Well, I'm over the moon about winning my third award!
With so many prestigious awards to choose from, deciding which contests to participate in can be a challenge. The rules typically include a publication deadline, so while I preferred to stagger the entry fees, I had to make my selections quickly before I missed out. Only one winner and one finalist in each group receive recognition from Pacific Book Reviews. The competition for memoir category increases each year due to its popularity, causing this win to feel a little sweeter. Happy dance happening now!
